Introduction to CrossFit: January 2019
Heat up those cold January evenings by learning CrossFit from our expert coaches.
Amber & Shane Poppe and Salle & Dustin Beckwith team up to teach an eight-session introduction to CrossFit, the fitness movement that has redefined what it means to be fit.
CrossFit training prepares you for the demands of life by strengthening the basic human movements: squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, balancing, throwing and picking stuff up.
We use kettlebell training, gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, running and more to create unique and varied workouts.
In this eight-session introduction, you’ll learn the basics or polish your existing skills, with an emphasis on proper form before building in intensity. You’ll experience the magic of performing challenging work together, in a supportive community.
Where: CrossCut CrossFit, 10242 White Birch Lane, Hayward
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursday, January 8 to 31 (eight sessions)
Time: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $75, payable at first class
