You've looked at the photos and read the testimonials. You are intrigued, but intimidated. We get it. We've been there.
We suggest you begin by stopping by to see a CrossFit class in action. You'll see athletes of varying ages and abilities working side by side using weights and movements appropriate to their skills. You'll see a coach guiding the group and individual athletes, making sure everyone gets the most out of the day's workout.
Most likely, you'll be struck at the variety of skills and apparatus that our athletes use: barbells for Olympic and power lifting, kettlebells, dumbbells, wall balls, slam balls, tanks, ropes, pull up bars, rowers, bikes, ski ergs and more. On any given day they'll be squatting, pushing, pulling, throwing, hanging, running, jumping.
If you decide that you're ready for this type of challenge, you'll sign up for one month at our regular membership fee of $70.
We'll work with you to set up several sessions of one-on-one training at a mutually convenient time. We'll learn about your goals, assess your skills and teach you basic movements. You'll be introduced to daily WODs (Workout of the Day), which we'll scale to your current abilities.
We integrate new members into classes quickly so you'll experience the adrenaline rush and satisfaction that comes with working hard together. Safety is our first concern: we focus on teaching our members proper form and mastery of skills before we add intensity to workouts.
